Where Pain Dissolves
One day all the wrongs will be made right.
I know how you’re feeling. You’re hurt. You’re mad.
You’ve been wronged. You’ve been burdened. And it’s hard to breathe.
You’re beat down, and you just want out of this pain.
You feel dead–and why live. Life doesn’t seem to get better.
Why can’t the righteous win? Why can’t the good seem to overcome?
When will this all be …
All this will be new.
All this bad–this evil we didn’t create but permeate.
We’ll look back at this life. We’ll look back from the other side of the great river.
And I just have one question:
Just one for you to ponder as you traverse your path…
Will you look back and wish you had…
Will you wish that you…
Were bitter – less?
‘Cause I’m just convinced less is more.
I know pain. But I know bitterness, too. And pain mixes much better with grace.
That’s where it dissolves.
All the wrongs will be made right.
Pain will be gone forever. The light will never go out.
That is the place we long for… our true home.
That is our hope–hope that will not fail.
One day we’ll be in the place.
In His place.
In the place where we belong.
